If you want to stay in shape by working out in a state-of-the-art fitness center located on campus, then the Aztec Recreation Center – affectionately known as the ARC – is a great option.
Thousands of SDSU students use the ARC each month, and after a recent renovation expanded and improved the ARC’s offerings of workout equipment and classes, the facility is an even better option for Aztecs who are looking to burn off some school stress.
Global Campus students enrolled in for-credit, degree-bearing programs can purchase a membership to visit the ARC at the SDSU student membership rate of $35 per month. It’s easy to take advantage of this world-class facility that is located on the west end of campus near Viejas Arena and was recently expanded to provide even more health and wellness services to the SDSU community.
The ARC is open seven days a week when classes are in session with the hours varying daily. If you’re planning to visit, it’s best to check the ARC website for hours of operation, a schedule of in-person group fitness classes like rock climbing, boxing fitness, and heated power yoga, and other details.
