Experience SDSU Global Campus Open House

You’re invited to join us this weekend for the Experience SDSU Global Campus Open House event!

This informative event for prospective and admitted students will be held on April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Extended Studies Center (ESC) building on the SDSU campus. In true Global Campus fashion, you have the option to either attend in person or virtually.

The free event will highlight our dedication to academic excellence and innovation in online learning. Prospective and admitted students will learn about the comprehensive resources and opportunities we offer.

“Joining us at the open house will be a wonderful experience for both prospective and admitted students,” said Precious Jordan-Talley, SDSU Global Campus Admissions Supervisor. “All attendees will have an opportunity to tour SDSU’s beautiful campus, enjoy lunch, enter some opportunity prize drawings, and take advantage of a 20% discount on SDSU swag at the bookstore. It’s going to be a fun-filled day you won’t want to miss!”

If you’re considering enrolling in one of our programs, you’ll be able to review program offerings, admission requirements, and the application process. We’ll provide a fee waiver to help reduce costs for anyone who applies for admission during the event, officials said.

“Prospective students will learn more about our program offerings, resources, and what it’s like to be a Global Campus student,” said Jordan-Talley. “They’ll also have the chance to meet with admissions advisors for help with applying to our programs – and yes, we’re offering fee waivers!”

If you’ve already taken the step of enrolling in one of our programs, you’ll be able to meet with a success advisor for your program to get any questions answered and see what you can expect as an SDSU Global Campus student.

“Admitted students will meet their academic advisors, engage with faculty, and get all the insights they need to succeed in their program,” said Jordan-Talley.

In addition to going over the different services and student information, we’ll also facilitate a Q&A for attendees to ask questions and form relationships with faculty, staff, alumni, and current students. We’ll demonstrate our supportive environment that fosters rich networking and community building.

The big day will end with a catered lunch. You’ll get extra time to network with staff, faculty, students, and even their families after absorbing all the knowledge from the info sessions.

Parking Details

If you are driving to campus, free parking will be available in P6, next to the Extended Studies Center where the event will be held.
