Danuta Pfeiffer, former co-host of KFMB-TV’s “SunUp San Diego” talk show, has experienced more ups-and-downs than most people.
In her book Chiseled: A Memoir of Identity, Duplicity, and Divine Wine, she chronicles her journey from unwed teenage mother, to morning talk-show host, to television evangelist, to the Oregon winemaker she has become.
Pfeiffer will share her life story when the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at SDSU presents “Chiseled” from 11 am-12:30 pm Friday, Nov. 18.
Through facilitated discussion with the author, attendees will deepen their reading experience and understanding of the book’s unanswered questions.
Discover how Pfeiffer’s journey ultimately leads to the Carpathian Mountains of Poland where she uncovers long-buried family secrets. Chiseled is the story of a woman who chipped away at a life of lies to arrive at a shining core of truth.
Cost to attend the OLLI at SDSU Book Club event is $7 for members and $10 for nonmembers. Registration deadline is Nov. 10.
