Being a lifelong learner doesn’t only help you professionally. It can also feed your soul.

Nearly 64% of lifelong learners believe it helped them expand their social circle, 69% felt it opened them up to new perspectives, and 87% felt more capable and well-rounded.

Becoming a member of our Osher community can help foster new skills, different perspectives, and a larger social circle.

“Over the years, I’ve encouraged many of my friends to become Osher members. I always emphasize that the courses are high caliber, college-level, and no prerequisites are required,” said Osher at SDSU member Yoli Banda. “Every semester there are a variety of classes like art, history, philosophy, science, and even field trips called ‘Edventures.’ We never have to worry about exams and homework. We just go to class and participate if you wish, or just relax and enjoy.  This is also an opportunity to meet new people and continue learning.

In addition to supporting you as a lifelong learner and social butterfly, joining our Osher community has other benefits.
